Founder of Azzi Industries

Canaan Azzi is the Founder, CEO, and Chair of Blue Lotus Corporation, and Founder Emeritus of Bombyx Mori Security Services. A U.S. Army veteran and self-made executive, he brings rare depth across mechanical design, architecture, branding, and product development. He launched his leadership career at 25 and has built it on adaptability, ingenuity, and leading by example. A polyglot, published author, and active volunteer, Canaan is as committed to community as he is to innovation.

Canaan Azzi serves as Chairman of the Veterans Committee for the Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA), one of Florida’s longest-standing manufacturing organizations. Founded in 1965, BAMA has represented manufacturers, suppliers, and industry partners across the Tampa Bay region, advancing workforce development, advocacy, and economic growth.

As Chairman, Azzi works with business leaders, veterans, and community stakeholders to strengthen the connection between American industry and the veteran workforce. His focus spans career transition, employer engagement, and strategic partnerships that help veterans move from military service into meaningful civilian careers. Through this role, he advocates for expanding veteran participation in the industrial base while creating tangible value for both the veterans and the employers who hire them.
