Canaan Azzi is the Founder, CEO, and Chair of Blue Lotus Corporation, and Founder Emeritus of Bombyx Mori Security Services. A U.S. Army veteran and self-made executive, he brings rare depth across mechanical design, architecture, branding, and product development. He launched his leadership career at 25 and has built it on adaptability, ingenuity, and leading by example. A polyglot, published author, and active volunteer, Canaan is as committed to community as he is to innovation.

Our partnership with the Germaine Institute represents our most significant philanthropic commitment. We focus on supporting children who come from abusive households and dangerous situations, providing comprehensive funding, resources, and strategic support to create safe environments and healing pathways for these vulnerable young lives.
Through this partnership, we work to establish protective networks, provide emergency shelter and care, and offer long-term rehabilitation services that help children escape abusive situations and rebuild their lives with dignity, safety, and hope for the future.

Veterans Committee
Canaan Azzi serves as Chairman of the Veterans Committee for the Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA), one of Florida’s longest-standing manufacturing organizations. Founded in 1965, BAMA has represented manufacturers, suppliers, and industry partners across the Tampa Bay region, advancing workforce development, advocacy, and economic growth.
As Chairman, Azzi works with business leaders, veterans, and community stakeholders to strengthen the connection between American industry and the veteran workforce. His focus spans career transition, employer engagement, and strategic partnerships that help veterans move from military service into meaningful civilian careers. Through this role, he advocates for expanding veteran participation in the industrial base while creating tangible value for both the veterans and the employers who hire them.

Canaan Azzi is a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus whose service has extended beyond participation to tangible contributions in support of the Order’s mission. During his tenure as Warden, he worked to strengthen council operations and member engagement while contributing significant resources, including signage, printed materials, media support, and financial assistance. A firm believer in the principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity, he has consistently sought to advance the work of the Knights through both leadership and personal generosity.

Canaan Azzi is an active Sir Knight of the Fourth Degree who has worked to expand the Assembly’s public presence and charitable impact throughout the Tampa Bay region. Through veteran-focused initiatives, community outreach, ceremonial participation, and charitable service, he has sought to exemplify the principles of Patriotism and service that define the Fourth Degree. His efforts include advancing veteran support programs, promoting civic engagement, assisting children and families through initiatives such as the Germaine Institute, and strengthening collaboration among Catholic, civic, and veteran organizations in service to the common good.
